Terrible Terrible service. The manager is downright awful. My drink was $40, plus a $3 upcharge for the mix. Not even top shelf. After looking at my tab I figured it was a huge mistake……Nope! That's what they charge. Never have I ever been to a place where they charge such absurd amounts. Then to be treated like dog crap when asking if it was a mistake.
Great atmosphere and service. The rooftop bar and seating area was amazing at night
First experience we came on a Saturday during the day so it still wasnt busy. The band was setting up, there was PLENTY of seating and its very cute. I loved the setting. Downfalls: bartender on 2nd floor seamed irritated, and made our drink wrong (but quickly remade it). The 2 upstairs bars were hot because they only have wall units and have a lot of windows. We did not stay for food.
I’ve visited this place three times, and unfortunately, I’ve left disappointed each time. The food is excellent, but the drinks and service consistently fall short. It seems the core issue is a lack of proper staff training. On different occasions, I went to the second and third floors and walked straight into the bar areas, only to be met with blank stares. No greeting, no offer to help. On the second floor, the staff just watched as we sat on the couches inside the vacant area until I finally asked if I needed to order directly at the bar. Their response: “yes”. So I walked a few steps over to place my order, while the rest of the staff stood around on their phones. On the third floor, my sister asked the bartender for a glass of champagne, and he responded, “What flavor?” which left us both confused. He then struggled to find a bottle, and once he did, he asked what kind of glass she wanted. When she replied, “A champagne glass,” he explained that some people prefer other types of glasses. Difficult to imagine, but fair enough. It took him 10 minutes to figure this out. Mind you, they weren’t busy, the guy just clearly didn’t know what he was doing. And the other girls working the bar just watched him fumble through it instead of helping him. Overall, the venue and food are outstanding, but the lack of attentive, well-trained staff is a serious weakness. If this place doesn’t succeed, it won’t be because of the food or atmosphere. It will be because of the service
