The waiter cussed me out! Unbelievable. My order took 25 minutes. The order was wrong. I refused the food and asked for a refund... that's when the waiter started cussing me out! I told him, there is no need for foul language. He said, I'm 23 years old, I'm an adult, I say the F-word if I want. He berated me for complaining. I tried a new place and got burned. I should have stayed with my favorites on the same street... Butcher Boy Tacos & El Norteño Taqueria. I will buy you breakfast if you call them and ask, Does the waiter who cusses out the customers still work there? Send me a direct message.
Food excellent, prices fair, costumer service fantastic. I highly recommend it
Stopped by here on vacation. Very good. Definitely recommend.
Hands down, this is some of the best breakfast tacos I’ve ever had. I eat gluten-free, and I’ve completely fallen in love with their corn tortillas. On top of that, their green hot sauce is delicious—the kind of salsa that makes you want to put it on everything. They also offer a great deal (possibly seasonal): three of the same breakfast tacos for just $4.79. A heads-up on ordering: if you want the three-for-$4.79 special, your tacos must come from the breakfast taco menu. That works perfectly for me since I usually stick to breakfast tacos, but my spouse sometimes orders fajita tacos in the morning—which don’t qualify for the deal. During one visit, I ordered the chorizo breakfast tacos on corn tortillas and asked to add cheese. What I expected was the breakfast version (with egg), but instead the server brought me plain chorizo and cheese tacos—more like a lunch item. Because of that mix-up, I was charged full price instead of the breakfast special. The flavor was fine, but without the egg, the chorizo was just too rich and overwhelming. I pointed directly at the breakfast menu when ordering, so I chalk this up to a communication slip. Takeaway: double-check that you’re ordering from the breakfast taco menu if you want the special. Spell it out clearly to avoid confusion, especially if you’re dining with someone who orders non-breakfast items. Despite that little hiccup, this is still my favorite taco spot for breakfast. Between the gluten-free corn tortillas, the great value, and that incredible green hot sauce, I’ll definitely keep coming back.
