Everything was awesome and the bill was low which was nice for a change

Ordered steak and ribs combo. Steak was seasoned well and cooked medium, as requested. Had great flavor. Ribs were another story. Tough, chewy, far from "fall off the bone" as they claim. Left those aside. The waitress saw and offered to bring out a new slab. No thanks. Instead asked for a chicken breast which was better than the ribs. 1st time here, drive past it weekly so was excited to try it but I don't think I'll return.

Joe (I almost blurted the joe mama joke 😔 it's too funny imo) was the kindest server, his attitude and attentiveness was so great, definitely coming back for him alone!! Our steaks were perfectly cooked to our liking (mine rare/blue, his medium rare), our sides were delicious and even our appetizer (potato boats) was amazing! Only peeve would be how they get ya with the bread rolls 🤣 had to take home quite a bit because I had no control over the yummy bread!!

8/28/2025 7:30pm. Ordered unsweetened tea, it was sweet. I am diabetic. I didn't check it before adding sweet and low but after 25 years I know the taste of sweet and low mixed with sugar Waitress didn't just bring me another tea, she chewed me out and said it was unsweetened, then chewed me out some more after I asked her to leave me alone. Manager did nothing, asked him to not send that waitress back. She came back anyway and was abusive again. I didn't feel like eating after that, wife had it all to go. We paid for our ruined meal and left. We have gone there a lot. I like the atmosphere, the food is OK but they usually cook my steak to death and I have to have it fixed (I like medium). Not paying to get chewed out, I just asked for another tea. I didn't go on about it or chew anyone out. I'm too old for this.

This was really good food, friendly staff and excellent tea. Always wanted to stop and I'm very happy
