I ordered the loaded nachos and the chips tasted stale to me. I asked for a new order and the manager on duty acted as if I was too picky and told me that's how they always tasted. He repeated several times that they opened a new bag, implying as if unopened bags of chips couldn't possibly be stale, and insisted it's just the brand of the chip I was tasting. Needless to say, I still have a bad taste in my mouth from them. So if it's as the manager says, the brand of chips, be prepared to have a bad taste in your mouth as if it they were stale, but what do I know, because like the manager said, he eats them every day.

The Prime sliced brisket is the best that I've had there. The creamed corn and pinto beans are excellent as sides. Sausage sandwich and Prime brisket sandwich are excellent. I've been to Burnt Bean in Seguin several times and it's great, this HEB brisket is under that quality but a close second. I know that sounds exaggerated but I'm not boasting for any gain. You just need to try it out. No lines outside and with cheaper prices. Don't forget the creamed corn and pinto beans. You can't go wrong here my friends.

I was really craving a baked potato on my lunch break. They did not disappoint! I also ordered brisket nachos. They did not skimp on toppings. The nachos were loaded with brisket. Everything I've ever ordered from here is phenomenal. The blueberry cobbler was also surprisingly delicious. It had the perfect fruit to cobbler ratio and it was served warm and not too sweet.

Love this place. The Brisket Nachos, and the Fatty Brisket are great! This evening it was right before they closed and they still fit me in and the Manager Jason even came out and made sure everything was just right. Great food, great people, quick and easy. Definitely recommend these guys.
