Lupe Tortilla Mexican Restaurant

Just spent an hour waiting on a Togo order. During that time, a million servers walked by me without ever asking if I needed any help. Eventually I was told that their policy is to cook all the orders for in restaurant guests first— which I was then told later is not their policy, so who knows. All I know is that my wife had to wait in the car with a screaming 2 year old for an hour while we waited on our Togo order that was supposed to be done when we got there. To top it off, they tried to tell me they were slammed when half the restaurant was empty. Then, I get home and they’ve forgotten my queso. Called in and they told me that in the “rush” to get my food out to me they must have forgotten it. Insane. Insulting. You don’t tell someone you rushed their food out when they had to stand in your hallway for an hour waiting on it. The entire reason we ordered Togo is bc two weeks ago we came in here and it took 45 minutes for my wife to get our check from our waitress after my son and I had to get up and leave bc my son is young and was being loud. In general, no one in this establishment has any clue what is going on around them, and clearly have not been trained to help guests. Terrible service and I won’t be back. Sucks bc the food isn’t half bad. It’s a chain though so maybe I’ll give another a chance. One with real management and staff training.
